Riddick 3 is coming

That's right.  IGN.com is reporting that the third film from the Riddick saga of films has entered pre-production and I just think that this is wonderful news.   

Now I know that many people didn't like 'Pitch Black' or 'Chronicles of Riddick' and so maybe the idea of a thrid film just doesn't interest you.  But, I liked the previous two films and I can't wait for this one to come out.

The interesting thing about the third film is that it will follow more in the vain of 'Pitch Black' than 'Chronicles of Riddick'.  This was expected given the fact that 'Chronicles of Riddick' was a lot more expensive to produce than 'Pitch Black' at $105 million and only made about $58 million domestically, $116 million worldwide.
Personally, I liked 'Chronicles of Riddick' a lot more than 'Pitch Black', and I wished that the third film would be made more like 'Chronicles of Riddick', but I have to understand their decision not to.

In any case, we will be seeing lot more of Riddick in the future, and hopefully this film won't be the last one.  What do you think?  Did you like the Riddick films? Or have you had enough of Riddick?
